WHO WE ARE
ELiDA is a not-for-profit, gender-focused, women-led non-partisan, and secular indigenous CSO. It was established in November 2008 by reputable women.
ELiDA contributes toward solving multidimensional social, economic, and political challenges of Ethiopians. ELiDA is committed to women and girls by creating opportunities and promoting girls’ education. The support includes awareness creation training on prevention of early marriage, female gentile mutilation (FGM), and harmful traditional practices (HTPs).
TARGET REGIONS
ELiDA implements projects in Addis Ababa, Amhara, Oromiya, Tigray and Afar regions.
